This new book is the history of the Parish in Pena Blanca, New Mexico and its missions in Cochiti Lake, Pueblo of Cochiti, Sile, La Bajada, Domingo, Santo Domingo Pueblo, and San Felipe Pueblo. The Foreword is by Most Reverend Archbishop Michael Sheehan and the author is Virginia E. Quintana de Ortiz of the Parish. There are many archival photos in the book but most notable are the photos of the Stations of the Cross murals painted by Fray Angelico Chavez in the 1930s. Many parishioners were used as subjects of the murals. The book contains list of priests, sisters, deacons, brothers, that all were in residence at the Parish. It contains photos of the stained glass windows, the old Catholic School, and long gone churches.
